DIY Acrylic Deck Panels

06 Sep

We thank Dan for sending us his plastic project pix…

Remember, when cleaning acrylic use only soap and water… chemicals (which may not always be listed), such as ammonia, will attack the material at the molecular level creating a hazy look and also reduces its strength and resiliences to scratching. There is a special abrasion resistant grade of acrylic which has a micro coating to fend off attacks from belt buckles and grit.

“Anyway, thanks for the good service. Pleasant staff are always a joy and this includes your telephone receptionist. Please make sure the boss lady knows that you and the receptionist are doing a great job. Dan…”

Please send your project pictures to me, the plasticguy, and, if you’re a contractor or inventor, then please indicate whether or not you want a link to your email or website. Publicity is always free at the Plastic Spork Blog!
